When do LSU, Tulane and other Louisiana colleges play in the NCAA tournament and where can I watch them?

All games will air on ESPN platforms, but you may need to subscribe to ESPN+ to see your favorite team.

NEW ORLEANS — The 2024 NCAA Baseball tournament tees off on May 31—several teams from the state of Louisiana made the tourney, including LSU, Tulane, and Grambling.

The first round of the tournament is known as regionals. Four teams compete in a double-elimination format. Regional play is scheduled for May 31 to June 1. 

All games will air on the ESPN platforms, but you may need to subscribe to ESPN+ to see your favorite team.

LSU (40-21) was placed in the Chapel Hill Regional. They play Wofford (41-18) on Friday at 11 a.m. on ESPNU. 

Two other southeast Louisiana schools will head to Oregon for the Corvallis Regional. American Athletic Conference tournament champion Tulane (35-24) and Southland champion Nicholls (38-20) will each head to Oregon for the Corvallis Regional.

Tulane will face Oregon State (42-14) on Friday at 8 p.m. on ESPNU. 

Nicholls will face UC Irvine on Friday at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.

Conference USA runner-up Louisiana Tech (45-17) will open the tournament against Kansas State (32-24) in the Fayetteville Regional on Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

Grambling (26-26), winners of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, will join Louisiana-Lafayette (40-18) in traveling to the Lone Star State for the Bryan-College Station Regional to play host Texas A&M (44-13) and Texas (35-22).

Grambling will play Texas A&M on Friday at 1 p.m. on ESPN+, and Louisiana-Lafayette will play Texas at 6 p.m. on ESPN2. 

In total, six Louisiana teams earned a 2024 berth.

Nearby Southern Miss (41-18) also won its second straight Sun Belt Conference tournament title. The Golden Eagles will travel to Tennessee to face Indiana in the Knoxville Regional on Friday at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.

  • Clemson, South Carolina – Clemson (41-14)

  • Corvallis, Oregon – Oregon State (42-14)
  • Fayetteville, Arkansas – Arkansas (43-14)
  • Greenville, North Carolina – East Carolina (43-15)
  • Knoxville, Tennessee – Tennessee (50-11) 
  • Lexington, Kentucky – Kentucky (40-14) 
  • Norman, Oklahoma – Oklahoma (37-19) 
  • Raleigh, North Carolina – NC State (33-20) 
  • Santa Barbara, California – UC Santa Barbara (42-12) 
  • Stillwater, Oklahoma – Oklahoma State (40-17) 
  • Tallahassee, Florida – Florida State (42-15)
  • Tucson, Arizona – Arizona (36-21)
