METAIRIE, La. — When asked the status of Saints' "Mr. Everything" Taysom Hill on Thursday, New Orleans head coach Dennis Allen explained the extent of the reported "abdomen injury" the tight end-slash-running back-slash-quarterback suffered during Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
"He's got fractures," Allen confirmed. "But, exactly what all they are..?"
After missing Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles with a bruised lung injury he suffered against Dallas the previous game, Hill returned against the Falcons but left the game just before halftime.
He rushed six times for 24 yards and two rushing touchdowns against Atlanta.
His future playing status has yet to be determined, including Monday night's Week 5 game at the Kansas City Chiefs.
On the season, Hill has 14 carries for 77 yards and two TDs.
