Taysom Hill exits midgame with possible injury as Saints trail Falcons at the half

The Saints report Hill left with an “abdomen injury" and was ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game.

ATLANTA — The Saints played on without Taysom Hill who left the game and headed to the medical tent as ESPN’s Katherine Terrell reports.

“Hill seemed to clutch at his chest as he ran to the sideline in the middle of the second quarter. After a visit to the blue medical tent, Hill then went to the locker room,” she reported at the half in Sunday’s game in Atlanta.

Hill was ruled out of the rest of Sunday's game.

The Saints trailed the Falcons at the start of halftime. Hill played well before heading to the sideline in what is his 100th NFL game.

He had two rushing touchdowns.
