NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints fell short again and continue their losing streak with a seventh straight loss to the Carolina Panthers 22-23.

Carolina Panthers managed to stop a five-game losing streak, earning their second win of the season to improve 2-7.

The Saints drop 2-7.

Saints wide receiver Chris Olave was carted off the field with another concussion during Sunday's game. Olave took a brutal hit on a crossing pattern to catch a throw by Carr that was too high for him and two Panthers crunched Olave in a big hit.

The game was delayed, players took a knee, and a cart was ordered for Olave almost immediately after the hit.

Olave had already suffered a concussion earlier this season but was cleared to play again.

The Saints are now continuing without two of their top receivers.

The Saints had a chance to win with a field goal in the final two minutes, but the Panthers defense stiffened, with Jadeveon Clowney making a big sack on second down. Dane Jackson broke up a Carr's fourth-and-four pass along the left sideline to Cedrick Wilson to seal it.

Here's what media from around the nation are saying about the Saints seventh loss of the season:
