NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints announced injury updates on Saturday, with wide receiver Chris Olave placed on Injured Reserve with a concussion.
This comes after Olave was carted off the field during the game against the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. Olave had already suffered a concussion earlier this season but was cleared to play again.
According to the NFL, this marks Olave's fourth confirmed concussion in his career. He's expected to miss "at least the next four games," the NFL said.
The Saints are now continuing without two of their top receivers.
So far this season Olave has caught 32 passes for 400 yards and scored one touchdown.
Center Erik McCoy and linebacker Nephi Sewell, were also sidelined and marked as out.
The Saints play the Falcons at noon on Sunday in the Superdome.
