METAIRIE, La. — Saints tight end Juwan Johnson will miss his third consecutive game due to a calf injury he sustained during warmups prior to the team's Week 4 loss to Tampa Bay.
As reported earlier this week, Johnson was held out of practice on Wednesday and is one of five New Orleans players not taking the field in Houston against the Texans (2-3) on Sunday.
The Saints (3-2) also announced that defensive back Lonnie Johnson (hamstring), fullback Adam Prentice (knee), special teams ace J.T. Gray (hamstring) and offensive lineman Landon Young (hip) would also miss Week 6 action.
According to our partner NOLA.com, veteran guard Andrus Peat was a late addition to the Saints' injury report.
Peat, who missed last week's shutout of the Patriots with a concussion, missed practice on Friday due to a groin injury and is now listed as questionable for Houston.
