Calf injury still keeping Saints tight end out of practice on Wednesday

METAIRIE, La. — New Orleans Saints starting tight end Juwan Johnson did not participate in practice on Wednesday. Johnson, who has missed the past two games due to a calf injury he sustained during warm-ups against Tampa Bay, was one of five Saints players who did not practice due to injury.

In total, 13 players were listed on the team's injury report heading into their Week 6 game against Houston, including offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk and tight end Jimmy Graham who engaged in light practice due to non-injury related rest.

The Saints injury list includes:

DB-Lonnie Johnson Jr., Hamstring – DNP

FB-Adam Prentice,  Knee – DNP

DB-J.T. Gray, Hamstring – DNP

OL-Landon Young, Hip – DNP

OL-Ryan Ramczyk, NIR-Rest – LP

TE-Jimmy Graham, NIR-Rest – LP

DE-Cameron Jordan, Back – LP

WR-Chris Olave, Toe – LP

OL-James Hurst, Foot – LP

QB-Derek Carr, Right Shoulder – FP

DB-Marcus Maye, Return from Suspension – FP

OL-Andrus Peat, Concussion – FP

Kickoff for Saints (3-2) at Texans (2-3) is scheduled for noon on Sunday.
