METAIRIE, La. — The New Orleans Saints announced that safety Lonnie Johnson and offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk will not play against the Buccaneers in Tampa, Fla., on Sunday.
As reported on Thursday, Ramczyk is facing possible offseason surgery to repair an injured knee that has forced the 29-year-old to miss three consecutive games now.
Johnson, who did not practice all week, is also out due to a knee injury.

Notable Saints on injured reserve include receiver Michael Thomas (knee), cornerback Marshon Lattimore (ankle), safety Marcus Maye (shoulder), defensive end Malcolm Roach (knee) and most recently offensive tackle Nick Saldiveri (shoulder).
New Orleans Saints coach Dennis Allen all but ruled out the return of top cornerback Marshon Lattimore or starting receiver Michael Thomas for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.
Both players have been eligible to return from injured reserve since last week, but on Tuesday, Allen said, “I don’t know that I expect to see those guys” at practice this week.
Defensive end Payton Turner continues to engage in limited participation at practice. Turner has been on injured reserve since the season opener against the Tennessee Titans with a toe injury.
The Saints (7-8) attempt to keep their playoff hopes alive with an NFC South matchup with the division-leading Buccaneers (8-7) in Tampa, Fla., on Sunday.
Kickoff is set for noon.
