HOOVER, Ala. — LSU baseball advanced to the SEC Tourney Championship Final after walking off the South Carolina Gamecocks 12-11 Saturday in the semi-final.
"LSU second baseman Steven Milam blasts a two-run walk-off blast in the bottom of the tenth inning," the team said.
The win comes after the Tigers defeated the Gamecocks Thursday 11-10. Tigers improved to 40-20 on the season and 17-17 in the SEC, according to the university's website.
The Gamecocks dropped 36-23 and 16-19 in the SEC.
The Tigers will return on Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m. against the winner of Vanderbilt versus Tennessee in the SEC Tournament Championship Game.
