NFL announces pregame entertainment lineup for Super Bowl LIX

The star-studded lineup features Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle and Ledisi.

NEW ORLEANS — The NFL announced the pregame entertainment lineup for Super Bowl LIX on Thursday. The star-studded lineup features Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle, and Ledisi.

“We’re honored to work with this year’s pregame lineup to celebrate the rich musical legacy of New Orleans and the entire state,” said Seth Dudowsky, head of music at the NFL.

Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Jon Batiste will perform the National Anthem. Trombone Shorty, also a New Orleans native and Grammy Award-winning musician and producer, will perform "America the Beautiful" with Grammy Award-winning artist Lauren Daigle.

The two will give their rendition of the song, "Capturing the spirit of Louisiana."

Then Ledisi, a Grammy Award-winning artist and proud Nola native will perform "Life Every Voice and Sing."

The pregame show will also include performances of American Sign Language (ASL).

Rap megastar Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl Halftime show. The rap megastar, who has won 17 Grammys, said he’s looking forward to bringing hip-hop to the NFL's championship game, where he performed as a guest artist with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent and Eminem in 2022.

"The Super Bowl is a rare moment to unite fans around the world," said Dudowsky. "And this year’s performers will bring the energy, soul and vibrant sounds of the region to a global stage, as we kick off Super Bowl LIX with a celebration to remember.”

A Carnival-style parade will kick off Super Bowl weekend for visitors and locals on Saturday, Feb. 8. The parade will roll through the French Quarter and end in the Warehouse District.

The big game for Super Bowl LIX is on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
