COVINGTON, La. — The new Costco in Covington will not open for another two weeks, but you will soon be able to get gas there.
Hernandez told us last week that the store has already hired around 180 new employees.
The starting pay is $18.50/hour, including benefits. Some employees have already started registering customers for membership and stocking inventory.
“Overall, I think us being here is just a big growth opportunity, not only for us, but for the community," Hernandez said.

The store is located at 4001 Pinnacle Pkwy in Covington, off of I-12.
