NEW ORLEANS — A male victim was shot and killed Friday evening in the St. Claude area, a spokesperson with the New Orleans Police Department said.
The killing happened near France Street and North Claiborne Avenue.
Phone calls to police about gunshots got to police around 7:15 p.m. near the intersection, and when police got there, they found the victim killed by gunshot in a driveway.
The NOPD spokesperson said they did not have information on the victim's age as of 8:54 p.m.
NOPD declared the shooting a homicide, but no other information was available.
