NEW ORLEANS — Second Harvest Food Bank announced where children age 18 or younger can get free meals for the summer.
The effort is apart of the Summer Food Service Program, which is a federally-funded program that gives free, nutritious meals for children living in low-income areas or pockets of poverty during the summer when school is out.
Some locations serve both breakfast/lunch and morning/afternoon snacks.
