Here's a list of upcoming festivals across the area

It's feeling like fall, a number of festivals are kicking off across New Orleans and surrounding areas.
So far it's been a fun-filled weekend with live music and German cuisine.

NEW ORLEANS — It's feeling like fall, a number of festivals are kicking off across New Orleans and surrounding areas.

OktoberFest

Friday, Oct. 11- Sunday, Oct. 26

  • Fridays 4 p.m. until 11 p.m.
  • Saturdays 1 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Enjoy and celebrate OktoberFest featuring variety of German dishes, drinks, and more on Bayou St. John.

Admission is $10, children under 12 enter free.

35th New Orleans Film Festival

Wednesday, Oct. 16 until Sunday, Oct. 27

The festival will showcase over 150 films in person October 16 - 22 at the Broad, Contemporary Art Center and The Prytania Theatres, plus virtually October 16 - 27 through the NOFF Virtual Cinema (available globally).

A six-film pass is $85 and an all access pass is $350.

Nola Reggae Fest

Friday, Oct. 25, 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 27, noon until 8 p.m.

In the historic Congo Square, the festival will feature international artists, music, food, and art.

A single-day ticket is $25 and a 3-day pass is $30.

9th Annual Tremé Fall Fest

Saturday, Oct. 26 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Enjoy music, food, art, activities for kids and adults at the festival honoring Tremé history and culture. A second line parade will precede the festival. The festival is free and donations are appreciated.

There will also be a Patron Party on Friday, Oct. 25 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tickets start at $150.

Widewater Music & Arts Festival

Saturday, Oct. 26 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Celebrate local talent, culture and community spirit on the Mandeville Lakefront. The festival features over 100 vendors, artists, and food options. There's also six stages showcasing live music.

Admission is free and open to the public. VIP tickets are $50 and provide an exclusive experience with added perks. Purchase tickets here.

Oak Street Po-Boy Festival

Sunday, Oct. 27 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The 16th Annual Oak Street Po-Boy Festival will have 40 food and drink vendors, multiple live music stages and more.

The festival is free but a wristband is required to purchase a poy-boy.  GA is $10, Fast Past is $25 and VIP is $125.
