NEW ORLEANS — Bun B, Better Than Ezra, and Teedra Moses will headline the National Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane’s music lineup.
The seventh annual event will take place on the New Orleans Lakefront Oct. 5 - 6.
“This entertainment lineup represents our ongoing commitment to showcasing top Louisiana talent and providing a wide range of artists and genres,” said FCF Executive Producer Cleveland Spears III. “From rock to rap and everything in between, a variety of cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, dance groups, and more, we’ll have something for everyone to come out and enjoy.”
Cupid, Bonerama, Shamarr Allen, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, PNC, Choppa, HaSizzle, Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers will also perform at this year's fest.
In addition to performing, Bun B's popup Trill Tenders is a part of the official food lineup.
Q93 radio personality Wild Wayne, singer-songwriter Tonya Boyd-Cannon, and B97 hosts TPot and Speedy will serve as emcees.
Officials said the HEINZ® “Food is Culture” Stage is also returning this year with Renzo Espada and Ashley Merriweather as featured guests.

Willie Mae’s makes its return to the festival along with several other past winners including Redbird Fried Chicken and Bao Mi, and Gus’s Fried Chicken.
After last year's fest, USA Today ranked the National Fried Chicken Festival as one of the “Best Speciality Food Festivals” in the country.
“Being ranked amongst the top 10 specialty food festivals in the country is not something we take lightly, and as such, we are always finding ways to elevate the overall culinary experience for our guests and elevate Louisiana’s rich culinary culture and traditions,” said Cleveland Spears, III, FCF organizer and President/CEO of the Spears Group. “With the return of local legends like Willie Mae’s and newly-added Picnic Provisions & Whiskey, this year’s lineup represents one of our most distinguished and dynamic to date, further solidifying the city’s reputation as one of the top food destinations in the world.”
