NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department responded to a school bus crash with an 18-wheeler on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the incident occurred in the Desire area and involved 11 of 24 children on board the bus being injured and taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The NOPD says none of the injuries are believed to be serious.
No details have been revealed regarding the cause of the crash.
WWL Louisiana has requested more information but has yet to hear back from the police.
