NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department arrested a man wanted for homicide on Wednesday.

Police thanked outside agencies, VOWS/US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Crimestoppers, and ProjectNOLA for helping capture 31-year-old Levi Johnigan.

Johnigan was wanted for a homicide that happened on June 26, 2024, near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Stemway Drive, according to NOPD.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Homicide Unit detectives at 504-658-5300 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
