NEW ORLEANS — The embattled former director of the New Orleans 911 call center, Tyrell Morris, was in court again on Wednesday.
His lawyers tried to get the case thrown out, but the judge denied it.
Morris is facing several charges including malfeasance in office and injuring public records.
This all stems from a car crash Morris was involved in while he was driving a city-owned vehicle.
The judge presiding over the case also denied Morris' request to look over grand jury materials.
The next hearing is scheduled for Oct. 18.
