METAIRIE, La. — Three juveniles from New Orleans were arrested after a chase in a stolen car with Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies which ended in a crash in Metairie.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives working on an overnight Auto Theft/Auto Burglary Task Force case found the stolen vehicle around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday near Veterans and Bonnabel Boulevards.
The sheriff’s office said after a short pursuit, the stolen vehicle crashed and several suspects fled on foot. Three juvenile male suspects were found with the use of JPSO K-9 units.
The juveniles, all from New Orleans, will face a range of charges related to the possession of the stolen vehicle, the pursuit, and possession of firearms.
This investigation is still ongoing.
