WASHINGTON PARISH, La. — Former model and actor Dean Kelly has been jailed in Washington Parish on a probation violation.
Because of that, the Louisiana Attorney General's Office asked that he be jailed for six months for violating his probation on a charge in Washington parish for threatening a public official.
The judge went with 30 days and scheduled another hearing for November 7th.
Kelly was scheduled to appear in Orleans Parish Criminal Court on Wednesday to address rape and sexual battery charges. That hearing has been rescheduled for August 7th.
The serial offender, who previously served time in prison for committing sex crimes, pleaded guilty in 2013 on two counts of sexual battery of a 14-year-old and took a plea deal in 2005 after being accused of raping two teen girls.
