Lowe's Bucket Brigade
Lowe's and its disaster relief partners will pass out disaster relief buckets filled with goggles, goggles, respirators, sanitizer, bug spray, water, scrub brushes, bleach and work gloves. Friday, Sept. 10, beginning at 9 a.m.

Sandbag Locations
Out of an abundance of caution with Hurricane Nicholas, St. Tammany Parish Government is opening five sandbag locations beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14 at the following locations:
- St. Tammany Parish Government Complex - Building C21410 Koop Drive Mandeville
- St. Tammany Parish Public Works Airport Road Barn 34783 Grantham College Road Slidell
- St. Tammany Parish Public Works Covington Barn 1305 N. Florida Street Covington
- St. Tammany Parish Public Works Keller Barn 63131 Fish Hatchery Road Lacombe
- St. Tammany Parish Public Works Fritchie Barn 63119 Highway 1090 Pearl River
Sandbags are self-serve. 15 sandbag limit per vehicle.
Please bring a shovel, in the event that the provided shovels are being used.

The Covington Branch of the St. Tammany Parish Library will reopen Thursday, September 9 at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Patrons will have access to electricity for charging devices and cooling off in the air conditioning. Phones, faxes, and internet are unavailable at this time at the Covington Branch.
ROADS
Additionally, CLECO has notified the Sheriff’s Office of the need to completely block off Riverside Drive off U.S. Highway 190 near Covington beginning Tuesday, September 7, in order to make repairs to powerlines. This roadway is extremely narrow and there is significant damage to powerlines in the area.
Work will begin daily at 8:30 a.m. and stop at dark, at which time the roadway will reopen until the next morning. There will be work breaks, and the roadway will be opened from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5-6 p.m.
The schedule will resume every day until the work is complete.
SCHOOLS
All St. Tammany Parish public schools and offices will reopen on Monday, September 13.
