NEW ORLEANS — An accident on the westbound side of Interstate 10 at Downman Road is causing bumper-to-bumper congestion as traffic backs up in New Orleans East around 7 a.m. on Thursday.
WWL Louisiana traffic reporter Colleen Seeley advises motorists traveling from the Slidell area to New Orleans or from New Orleans East to expect delays.
The accident has since been moved to the shoulder, so traffic is starting to open back up.
