A portion of North Billville Road road collapsed Friday morning in Tangipahoa Parish, according to officials.
Officials said a cross drain collapsed, causing the road to cave in, and the need for an immediate emergency repair.
Parish President Robby Miller said "Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews are preparing to do an emergency cross-drain replacement" near a site located at the end of North Billville Road in Pumpkin Center.
Officials said crews are on site repairing the road.
