NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints travel to Indianapolis to play the Colts on Sunday, but injured and sick players could change the team's luck.

This will be the second game in a row the Saints will play without their starting left tackle James Hurst, according to our partners at Nola.com.

Nine Saints players listed as questionable on the injury report before their Week 8 game.

According to Nola.com players listed include:

  • Linebacker Demario Davis (knee)
  • Safety Tyrann Mathieu (foot)
  • Safety Marcus Maye (hamstring/illness)
  • Quarterback Taysom Hill (chest)
  • Cornerback Alontae Taylor (hip)
  • Tight end Jimmy Graham (illness)
  • Offensive lineman Max Garcia (illness)
  • Offensive lineman Andrus Peat (ankle)

On top of the injuries players and coaches are getting sick. Alvin Kamara missed practice earlier in the week and coach Dennis Allen also had an illness.

Some of the Colts players are in the same boat. Their defensive back JuJu Brents has a quadricep injury, tackle Braden Smith injured his hip and wrist, and tight end Kylen Gransen suffered a concussion. They will not play on Sunday's game.

The Colts running back Zack Moss, ranking second in the NFL in rushing, is also questionable. He suffers heel and elbow injuries.

Playing in the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the game will be an interesting one as some players may not be on the field.
