HOUSTON — The New Orleans Saints fell to 3-3 overall after losing 20-13 on the road to the Texans in Houston on Sunday.

With a little over four minutes remaining in the game, the Saints failed to convert on two critical fourth-down conversions while in the Houston red zone.

Despite outgaining the Texans by 133 yards on total offense, which included 341 passing and 89 rushing (430 total), the Saints managed only one touchdown in the game – a 34-yard pass from Derek Carr to wide receiver Rashid Shaheed with 13 seconds to play in the first quarter.

Carr finished 32 of 50 for 353 yards with one touchdown and one interception, while rookie C.J. Stroud went 13 of 27 for 199  yards with two TDs and one INT for the Texans.

The Saints return home for a short week hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Caesars Superdome on Thursday night. The Texans travel to Carolina to face the Panthers next Sunday.
