NEW ORLEANS — Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 331 yards and the Chiefs prevailed over red-zone woes on Monday night to beat the New Orleans Saints 26-13.
Saints signal-caller Derek Carr threw for 185 yards and scored two touchdowns and a pick before leaving the field with an oblique injury.
The game marks the third straight loss for the Saints, now 2-3. The Chiefs improved to 5-0.
