NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints are signing pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul, according to CBS Sports Reporter Josina Anderson.
Anderson says that Pierre-Paul told her he’s planning to sign with the Saints.
The veteran edge rusher has not played a down this season. Last year, he had three sacks, five tackles for loss and 17 solo tackles in 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens.
Pierre-Paul is a former Pro Bowler with 94.5 sacks during his 13-year career. It is not known at this time if Pierre-Paul was signed to the practice squad or the Saints' 53-man roster.
