METAIRIE, La. Saints receiver Joseph Morgan is set to get a second opinion on a knee that was injured early during Saturday's Black and Gold scrimmage, coach Sean Payton said Monday.

Payton wouldn't go into details about Morgan's injury, saying he would wait to make an announcement after the receiver gets a different doctor to look at his knee.

Softening the blow of Morgan's injury was the activation off the physically unable to perform list of receiver Marques Colston, who missed the first nine practices of training camp with a foot injury.

Colston wouldn't say what his injury was, but when asked if it was similar to the plantar fasciitis that plagued him early in 2012, said, 'It's just a result of this is eight years now. It's just one of those things I've got to manage and stay in front of and make sure I was fully ready to go at this point of the season.'

Besides Morgan, receiver Andy Tanner, defensive end Tom Johnson (hip), linebackers Eric Martin, Jonathan Vilma and Martez Wilson (left elbow) all sat out. Tanner and Martin's injuries were undisclosed while Vilma had a veteran's day off.

Cornerback Patrick Robinson (right knee) also returned from the PUP list, taking part in individual and group drills.
