The Saints drafted a second safety Saturday, adding Saquan Hampton out of Rutgers with the 177th overall pick in the sixth round of the draft.

Hampton measures in at 6'1", 206-pounds and had 64 tackles and three interceptions in 2018.

The Saints obtained the 177th pick in a trade with the New York Jets last off-season for QB Teddy Bridgewater in exchange for their third-round pick.
