NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints are considering adding another former Raiders coach to their staff, according to our partners at The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate.
Jeff Duncan says Saints leaders met with Gruden in Tampa when they played there in Week 17.
Gruden visited the Saints training camp this past summer as a non-paid observer. He coached Derek Carr with the Raiders and Carr had two of his best seasons during that time.
The Super Bowl-winning coach resigned from the Raiders when emails he sent went public. Gruden is now suing the NFL for leaking those emails which he says ruined his career.
