Report: Saints to start Teddy Bridgewater in Week 17 finale

There’s no doubt that Teddy Bridgewater has had a fun year as quarterback Drew Brees’ understudy, but now he’ll get a golden opportunity to show what he’s got.

New Orleans Saints backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has had a blast this season, seeming to enjoy himself and his new surroundings ever since joining the Saints in a preseason trade from the New York Jets.

The main concern with the Saints trying to hitch their long-term plans to Bridgewater was his health, specifically a badly-injured and surgically-repaired knee. Well, if this latest postgame dance-off is any indication, Bridgewater’s troubles are well behind him:

Bridgewater dances like a madman, transitioning seamlessly between one move to the next. He naturally returns to his patented invisible bicycle pose, showcasing the miracle of modern medicine at work in his once-injured knee. Funnily enough, Steelers star receiver Antonio Brown at one point lifted Bridgewater’s signature move to celebrate a touchdown; Bridgewater was later seen on the game broadcast shouting at his opponent from the sidelines.
