NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints will be without their Pro Bowl center for a significant chunk of the season.
According to NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo, Erik McCoy's groin injury is expected to require surgery that would sideline him for about 6 to 8 weeks
Garafolo says it’s at least not a season-ending situation.
McCoy was injured on the first possession of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
