NEW ORLEANS — The NFL Players Association released team grades for 2024. The New Orleans Saints finished the year ranked 19th in the annual report card.

They scored above average in nine of the 11 categories, but they are near the bottom in two categories. Those two categories are the treatment of families and food/cafeteria.

"One of our core jobs as a union is to improve the overall working conditions for our players, which includes the daily experience of players at the team facilities away from the lights and cameras," The NFLPA said.

The Saints are working to fix their food program. This summer, the team could be holding their training camp in California while a new cafeteria is built at their practice facility, according to our partners at The Times-Picayune report.

"The players feel like the food offerings are not up to the highest standards for a professional sports team and are looking for healthier and fresher options," Saints players said.
