NEW ORLEANS — The Saints are bringing back another New Orleans native to suit up in the Black and Gold.
According to our partners at the Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate, Safety Roderic Teamer is signing a one-year deal with the team.
Teamer was a star in high school at Brother Martin, and he stayed in the city for college, playing at Tulane for 4 years.
He went undrafted in 2019 but was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers. As a rookie, Teamer made 30 tackles and had one interception in six games.
The 27-year-old spent the last three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders.
NOLA.com says Teamer tried out for the Saints at the rookie minicamp and mandatory minicamp before being signed.
