What time is the LSU-Iowa NCAA tournament game

We have the tipoff time for LSU and Iowa's rematch as well as where you can watch the game.

Neither LSU nor Iowa is considered the favorites to win the NCAA title this season. In fact, South Carolina is the overwhelming choice. Of course, South Carolina was the top choice a year ago as well before Caitlin Clark and Iowa knocked them off. LSU then beat the Hawkeyes in a memorable final game to win the NCAA championship.

The game everyone wants to see

So while South Carolina or UConn or USC might end up with the national championship, all eyes will be on Monday's matchup between Clark and Iowa and Angel Reese and LSU.

In addition, LSU's coach, Kim Mulkey has been making a lot of news off the court, or, rather, her reaction to some questionable columns has made news.

Mulkey is a four-time national champion coach who also won an NCAA championship as a player and a gold medal.

Last year's matchup was the most-watched women's college basketball game in history. Monday's game is not likely to match that total but it is expected to be the most-watched women's basketball game this season.

Where to watch

ESPN/ABC is the home of the entire women's tournament and Monday's game will be no exception. The LSU-Iowa broadcast will start at 6 pm with tipoff slated for 6:15 p.m. The game will be on ESPN. The winner of the game will make the Final Four, which is this coming Friday and the championship game is set for Sunday night, April 7.

Storylines

Caitlin Clark is the most visible name in women's college basketball, perhaps in women's basketball overall. She will undoubtedly be the top pick in the WNBA Draft. She will be seeking a national title but will have to get through a tough road to win it.

The winner of the LSU-Iowa contest will face the winner of the UConn/USC game with a likely matchup against top-ranked and unbeaten South Carolina in the finals.
