Report: Hailey Van Lith transferring to TCU

In her lone season at LSU, she started every game and averaged 11.6 ppg and 3.6 apg.

NEW ORLEANS — Former LSU guard Hailey Van Lith will be playing for her third team in three seasons.

According to multiple reports, Van Lith is transferring to TCU.

In her lone season at LSU, she started every game and averaged 11.6 ppg and 3.6 apg.

Before coming to LSU, the two-time All-ACC guard spent the past three seasons at Louisville, where she started in 101 games. In her last season at Louisville, she averaged 19.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game and led the Cardinals to the Elite Eight. She finished 12th all-time in scoring at Louisville

Van Lith's scoring decreased at LSU as she tried to learn how to play the point guard position.

After the Tigers' Elitie Eight loss to Iowa, Mulkey said she hoped Van Lith would play for the Tigers again next season.

“Hailey Van Lith came to LSU after being an abundant shooter,” Mulkey said. “Shot it a lot at Louisville. Had great success. Was on good teams. But she graduated in three years with a finance degree. She wanted to experience all the things I guess she saw from afar with our championship last year.”

Van Lith joins a Horn Frogs squad that went 21-12 last season.
