Boutte was assessed a flagrant personal foul and ejected. He appeared to recognize that he had lost his cool when he went to the bench for the game's final seconds. After the game LSU coach Les Miles said he didn't realize Dixon had been down before the hit, and that, "He's not a malicious guy."
Predictions for Wisconsin have been measured this preseason, as the Badgers face one of the nation's toughest schedules. But they just cleared what was considered the biggest hurdle of the slate.
