BATON ROUGE, La. — Jayden Daniels continues to make a statement at the start of his NFL career, he was named the 2023-2024 Roy F. Kramer SEC Male Athlete of the Year.
Daniels is the second LSU athlete in a row to be honored with the award, following Dylan Crews last year.
“It takes an exceptional level of discipline and commitment to achieve at highest level of competition," said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. "A level that has been reached by Parker and Jayden with the consistency necessary to be called the best of the best."
Daniels is the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner and the 2024 No.2 overall NFL Draft pick by the Washington Commanders.

Last year, Daniels made SEC history as one of the only players besides Johnny Manziel to pass for 3,500 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a single season, the release said.
