NEW ORLEANS — The Pelicans (17-14) should get one of their leaders back tonight when Larry Nance Jr. returns against the visiting Utah Jazz (13-18) on Thursday night.
New Orleans has lost three of their last four, but all have been really close games that were decided in the final minute. This is the third of a five-game homestand that the Pelicans really need to win.
The 30-year-old Nance, who missed the last 13 games with injured ribs, was officially listed as questionable but said at the morning shootaround that he will play and he believes he can help.
Tipoff for Jazz-Pelicans is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Smoothie King Center.
