Pelicans and Smoothie King Center renew naming rights partnership

"This partnership has been instrumental in creating a dynamic and engaging environment for our fans," said New Orleans Pelicans Governor, Gayle Benson.

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Pelicans announced that they renewed the arena naming rights contract with Smoothie King on Tuesday. 

Pelicans officials say the venue will remain as the "Smoothie King Center" for the foreseeable future.

"We are thrilled to extend our relationship with Smoothie King and maintain the iconic Smoothie King Center as the home of the New Orleans Pelicans. This partnership has been instrumental in creating a dynamic and engaging environment for our fans," said New Orleans Pelicans Governor, Gayle Benson. "Smoothie King's commitment to wellness and community aligns perfectly with our values, and we look forward to continuing to build on the success we've achieved together."

The renewal will be celebrated on January 5. The first 1,000 fans to arrive at "The Blender" for the Pelicans' will receive a complimentary 12 oz King Cake Smoothie, courtesy of Smoothie King.
