Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray may have broken his hand in season opener, ESPN says

Murray had 14 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the winning game against the Chicago Bulls.

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Pelicans opened the season winning 123-111 against the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night. Now, the team "fears" that point guard Dejounte Murray fractured his hand after the victory, according to ESPN.

They said the newly-acquired Murray "suffered a fractured left hand" after his debut, in a report. He had 14 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds.

The Pelicans also missed power forward Zion Williamson, who didn't play due to an illness.
