NEW ORLEANS — In Mid City, Saints fans are still celebrating last week’s win against the Dallas Cowboys and banking on another one this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Any Philadelphia fans should be scared,” One Saints fan said. From cheering to dancing, everyone is ready for Sunday at the dome.
“Saints by three touchdowns, easy,” Another Saints fan said.
One dance move got Saint’s Quarterback Derek Carr in trouble with the NFL last week.
Celebrating at touchdown, Carr broke out the signature Michael Jackson groove.
That jig came with a $14,000 price tag, but Saints fans at Wrong Iron on the Greenway say they’re happy to help him foot the bill.
“If he’s doing a little shimmy here and a little shimmy there, he’s got that New Orleans in him,” another Saints fan said.
In the Quarter, Eagles fans are confident in a win for the Birds.
“We got to support our birds,” One Eagles fan said “Go birds, that’s all I have to say.”
Even the most dedicated of Philly fans say they can’t help but fall in love with New Orleans.
“We’re very excited,” another Eagles fan said. “We love coming to this beautiful city. The food is amazing, and the people are awesome, and we’re ready to watch some football.”
Kick-off is at noon in the Superdome.
