NEW ORLEANS — Saints linebacker Pete Werner will be in for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, despite a hand injury that kept him out of two practices this week.
On Friday at practice, Werner was seen wearing a large club on his right hand and despite that, Werner was not listed in the Saints injury report.
The team listed running back Jamaal Williams, guard Lucas Patrick, and linebacker Jaylan Ford among the inactives.
Receiver Cedrick Wilson, now recovered from a shoulder injury, will play, and the Saints elevated Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Dante Pettis from the practice squad.
Center Erik McCoy and linebacker Nephi Sewell, returning from injury, are also active.
