KENNER, La. — The City of Kenner is honoring WGNO Sports Director Ed Daniels by naming a stadium after him. On Friday, a ceremony officially changed Muss Bertolino Stadium to Ed Daniels Field.
Daniels died back in August after suffering a heart attack. He was a highly respected sports journalist who covered local sports teams for decades.
In his hometown of Kenner, the ceremony began at 6:30 p.m. right before the Kenner Discovery versus Bonnabel High football game.
