NEW ORLEANS — According to a report from ESPN on Friday, a five-star defensive end – and the sports network's No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2026 – is no longer enrolled at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans.
Jahkeem Stewart, a 6-foot-6, 275-pound high school junior, told ESPN he is considering reclassifying into the 2025 class and intends to join a new program immediately.
National recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman of Rivals.com also reported the news.
According to Rivals, Stewart has already received scholarship offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Florida State, Southern Cal, Oklahoma and Georgia Tech.
The Purple Knights will open the 2024 season against McDonogh 35 on Saturday.
