LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Brother Martin High School’s cheerleading team was the winner of a national championship for the third time in five years at the National High School Cheerleading Championships at Disney World in Orlando this past weekend.
The competition awards 19 national championships to high schools of different sizes and makeups. Brother Martin won the title in the medium varsity co-ed division.
The school had won previous titles in 2020 and 2021 before this year’s championship.
"Winning a national championship embodies years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve, showcasing the collective effort and resilience of our athletes,” said head coach Jessica Fresina. “Securing this prestigious title for the third time as a school is a testament of our commitment to excellence.”
