Brandon Ingram earns first NBA All-Star selection

The Pelicans' leading scorer is averaging career highs in points (25), 3-points percentage (.404), rebounds per game (6.3) and assists per game (4.3).

NEW ORLEANS — Brandon Ingram's impressive first season with the New Orleans Pelicans earned him a spot in the NBA All-Star Game.

Ingram was announced as a reserve on Thursday night. The Pelicans' leading scorer is averaging career highs in points (25), 3-points percentage (.404), rebounds per game (6.3) and assists per game (4.3).

This is Ingram's first All-Star selection. This is his fourth season in the NBA.
