Funeral arrangements announced for WGNO producer killed in Crescent City Connection crash

NEW ORLEANS — Funeral arrangements have been announced for WGNO sports producer Mark Deane.

According to Mothe Funeral Homes, Deane will be laid to rest Friday at the Westlawn Memorial Park.

Deane was killed in a crash last Friday morning on Crescent City Connection.

His visitation and mass will be held at Mothe Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m., and the mass will start at 11 a.m.

"He was a beloved member of our team and will be sorely missed," WGNO said in a statement after his passing. "This is a true tragedy and we ask for your prayers for Mark, his friends, family and co-workers."
