Two tugboats collided on the Mississippi River Wednesday night.
According to officials, 14 barges were involved in the crash and, thankfully, nobody was injured.
The crash occurred near mile marker 103 in Westwego. According to the Coast Guard, The DNR Bovene and the Mississippi Dixie collided, punching a 4-5 foot hole in the DNR, which is now moored on the west side of the river.
No pollution was released into the river, according to the Coast Guard.
