Several reports have quoted the Oklahoma State medical examiner as saying that the driver of the vehicle that crashed into a car driven by Monty Williams' wife, had methamphetamine in her system.
Susannah Donaldson, who was driving the SUV that impacted Williams' car. Both Donaldson and Ingrid Williams were killed in the crash.
A report by authorities said Donaldson was driving about 78 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone at the time of impact.
In a moving eulogy, former Pelicans head coach and current Oklahoma City assistant coach Monty Williams said his family had forgiven Donaldson and harbored no ill will toward her.
